Paul and Lorraine are your chalet hosts in Tournavel. Paul from and engineering background and Lorraine a former health care inspector are now in their 12th winter season. They both have an enduring love for the mountains and winter sports that keeps them coming back year after year to Tignes. In the summer they continue to live the dream, sailing, mountain biking and hiking in Turkey and Greece.

Their first winter season was in Ste Foy, renowned for its off piste tracks and untouched champagne powder. Here both of them discovered their love for skiing off the beaten track. Both used to regularly use dry slopes in the UK to train and improve their skiing skills for their holidays in the French Alps when they worked in the UK.

Now based in Tignes at Chalet Tournavel for their 7th season they have developed a passion for the Tignes and Val D’Isere ski area. In their free time they will be found far from the pistes ski touring or discovering fresh tracks in this amazing area. They know the ski area extremely well and are on hand to offer advise about where to find the best snow and which lifts to take to give you a fabulous day out.

Both Paul and Lorraine are passionate about food and have become accomplished chalet chefs ensuring there is delicious food for their guests to enjoy.

Tom, Kate and the four boys live on a farm in Dyrham, near Bath. We are all passionate about the mountains and love visiting Tignes in the summer and winter. Tom is currently developing the farm, livery, cottage business and looks after the chalet bookings. Kate is an art teacher, when she is not in the classroom she can usually be found on her horse, Duffy. The boys love skiing and are already planning their gap years so they can help Paul and Lorraine and live at the chalet full time.
